Computer Research Society president

The Computer Research Society president is a character in The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. He first appears in the episode "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi II".

The president's name is unknown. In the episode "Mystérique Sign," Kimidori Emiri says his full name, but a cat's meow is overheard instead after the first syllable Ya.

Emiri claims to be the president's girlfriend, but he has claimed later that he has no girlfriend.

In "The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi II," Haruhi cons the president into giving the SOS Brigade their newest computer by taking pictures of him "sexually harassing" Mikuru. The pictures are actually staged, where Haruhi forces the president to grab Mikuru's breasts and knocks him down on top of her.

After relinquishing a computer, the president is also forced to install it in the Brigade's meeting room. According to Kyon, he performs the task in tears.
